QiGong and the 5 elements
Have fun exploring and learning about the 5 elements through Qigong 5 element practice.
The 5 elements – Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water are energetic cycles in nature and within the human energy system. The more in tune we are with each season the healthier and happier we will be. The elements influence a our physicality, thoughts, emotions, attitudes and spiritual inclinations.
The 5 elements can help us understand who we are and enable us to move greater ease and less stress in our everyday lives.
Each week we will explore one of the 5 elements and bring that element to life through the experience of a variety of Qigong practices using movement, breath, sound, self massage and mindful focused intention.
